Description
What has been Canada’s role in the Space race? Who are Canada’s astronauts? Who looks after the astronaut program? These questions and more are answered in this 8-lesson unit study. Explore Canada’s history while studying the lives of those who shaped it.
Each lesson contains age-appropriate exercises and activities for grades 1-12, making this unit study a great option for homeschooling families or classrooms alike. History can be shared across all age levels and grades.
Lessons contain a selection to be read (either by the parent/teacher or by the student), an activity page, additional questions for high school levels, hands on activities, and digital media that can be accessed online. Also included is an additional book list broken up into grade levels (lower elementary, upper elementary, and highschool), a Mission journal, and colouring pages.
You will find a Glossary of Terms to accompany the unit study as a free download in the Store as well.
